Josef G. Knoll Science Award

The Josef G. Knoll Science Award does exist since 1986 and is given every two years to applicants which have successfully graduate from universities in Europe. This will be continued by the Foundation fiat panis from 2010 on. Since the beginning in 1986 there have been 44 prizewinners and we have awarded a total of 210,000 Euro.

Application and awarding take place in even years (2010, 2012, etc.) and the next deadline for applications will be april 30, 2010.
Terms of application (Knoll2010e.rft) will be available by December 2009.

All persons which have not completed their 40th anniversary can apply for the prize as well as teams whose members are not older than 40 years.

Biography
Hans H. Ruthenberg Award for Graduates

The Hans H. Ruthenberg Award for Graduates was initiated in 1999, and since then it has been awarded yearly. This will be continued by the Foundation fiat panis from 2010 on.The target of the prize is to honour graduates which intensively deal with the development of farming and the reduction of hunger in the world.

So far, there have been 29 prize winners and we have awarded a total of 72,500 Euro.

In 2010 the award will be endowed with 7,500 Euro.

The deadline for all applications is April 30, 2010.

All persons can apply for the prize which studied at universities in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and graduated successfully with a diploma- or master-thesis, and which were not older than 28 years at the final examintion for the diploma.
