History and Function
Since the beginning of the 1960s, the Eiselen family has supported research projects at the University of Hohenheim aimed at reducing famine in the world. In 1978, Dr. h. c. W. Eiselen (1896-1981) and his son Dr. H. Eiselen (born 1926) created the Eiselen Foundation. They entrusted it with the tasks of research funding and running the Museum of Bread Culture.
